The Fountain

Year:
2009
Softwares:
Modo 401 - Zbrush 2 - Photoshop CS3
Notes:
Sometimes I use to fish in my neverending WIPs folder and find time and desire to finish some scene. This model was built to test Modo 302 sculpting module, but I drop it after a couple of hours. But when Modo 401 came out, I gave to this scene another chance to reach the final render result.

Apple basket

First version for the door handle.

But the original concept was too many "artistic" for a rustic kitchen, so the first model was replaced with this "new" version.

Vegetables!

Move-brush-smooth-pinch, move-brush-smooth-pinch, move...

Two new sculpting test for my new topology. 2 or 3 edges must be edit, but at the moment my new mesh works very well.

Old friend!

Hi, fatbooooy!

Of course, Modo for base mesh and level 1 sculpting and Zbrush for refinements. 2 Hours each.

And yes, it's time to think about a denture :)

Just a little Modo render [I don't think I like Modo 302 sss... I miss misss_fast_skin...]:

This one is the new background of my temporary website [take a look, if you don't have anything to do :)]

Topology rebirth

Back to my puppets! New characters in my yard, but first of all I revisited my base meshes [some annoyance in last models]. At the moment, only the head is optimized while the body is under my tools.

Just two fast little sketches to test my new topology (I think I saved 1 million polygons too :P ). Modo and Zbrush.

Exploring new meshes...

A little remake for "explorer" character. Just a new body and new proportion for an old friend [and yes, hard work because of the reel...]
